About the translation
The text has been translated from the book Ajax, de Joden,
Nederland ('Ajax, The Jews, The Netherlands'), published (in
Dutch) by L.J. Veen Publishers, Amsterdam, 2000. The chapters
on Ajax USA are the Ajax-related chapters (1, 2, 6, and 11-14).
The seven remaining chapters are equally interesting, but less
relevant for Ajax USA, since they're about Jews in Holland,
Holland during the war, and Sparta or Feyenoord. The
ranslations are done by Menno Pot, with permission of the
author.
