RSS
Welcome to Ajax USA's RSS Feeds page! We're excited to offer this new method of publishing content!
Ajax USA's available RSS feeds:
What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a free method of receiving constantly updated links from Ajax USA and other web sites. An RSS document, which is called a "feed," "web feed," or "channel," contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text. RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with their favorite web sites in an automated manner that's easier than checking them manually. Instead of browsing your favorite web sites (like Ajax USA!) for new articles and features, RSS automatically tells you when something new is posted online. The title of each item that appears in the feed links back to the full item on the publishing web site.
How do I use Ajax USA's RSS feeds?
RSS content can be read using an "RSS reader", "feed reader" or an "aggregator". The user subscribes to a feed by entering the feed's link into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process. The reader checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new content, downloading any updates that it finds.
Most current web browsers (including IE7 and Firefox) provide RSS Aggregator functionality. Also, personalized portals such as My Yahoo and iGoogle allow you to add feeds to your home/start page. There is also a great list of feed readers at DMOZ.org. Enjoy!
