Ajax USA's 5th Annual Rendezvous in Amsterdam
A great way to celebrate Ajax USA's Tenth Anniversary!
Our trip has now ended. Far-flung Ajacieds gathered in Amsterdam for several days of Ajax fun. We had 21 ticketed attendees from USA and Canada, UK, France, Australia, and even as far away as Belgium and Amsterdam, and several other honored guests and tenacious clingers-on joining us for all the fun.
This year's centerpiece was the historic (?) game between the defending Dutch champions, Ajax Amsterdam, and the presumptive new champions, PSV Eindhoven, on Sunday, 20 March 2005. [ Match Report] In addition, we did the famous Ajax History Tour and the always-fantastic ArenA Day, as well as a Young Ajax game at De Toekomst. We also joined club members and honored guests for a pleasant evening at De Toekomst on Friday night, to celebrate the 105th birthday of Ajax!
